The Mohican Cabin, named after the movie, “Last Of The Mohicans ” which was filmed at Chimney Rock Park, is a two level, two bedroom, two bath cabin with wood interior and 1500 square feet of living space. This is the perfect cabin for a family of four or for two couples. On the main level is the private master bedroom with a king size bed with skylights above, perfect for watching it snow in the winter or waking up in the summer to bright sunlight. There is a full bath down the hall. The living room has a stone wood burning fireplace and cable TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with a cozy dining area to enjoy your meal after cooking on the charcoal grill. The upstairs level has a full bath and a double bed in an open loft area with skylights. From this level you can actually see a waterfall trickling down Hickory Nut Gorge after it has rained through the A-frame windows that accent the front side of the cabin. After spending the day at Chimney Rock Park hiking, or going for a boat ride at Lake Lure, pull up a rocking chair and rest on your private covered deck or relax in your private hot tub.
